After working as a graduate trainee across each of Russell Kennedy’s practice groups, Isobelle joined the Public Law, Litigation and Aged Care team. Isobelle practices in the areas of administrative law and litigation, with a focus on the health, government, aged care and disability sectors. Isobelle also advises clients on legal compliance, risk management and policy and procedure development. Isobelle has a background in tort law and class actions, and brings this experience to her role.
Experience
- Acting for state government and private clients in coronial inquests and investigations
- Advising and acting on behalf of residential aged and home care providers in regulatory, risk management and compliance matters arising under the Aged Care Act 1997 (Cth)
- Conducting general commercial litigation, particularly in the County Court of Victoria and the Supreme Court of Victoria
- Acting for the State of Victoria in matters arising under the Serious Sex Offenders (Detention and Supervision) Act 2009 (Vic)
- Advising clients on legal compliance, risk management and policy and procedure
