Craig is a registered trade mark attorney and routinely advises and represents private and public sector clients in relation to the registration, commercialisation and enforcement of their intellectual property. Craig also advises and represents clients on the procurement of information technology goods and services. Craig has expertise in competition and consumer protection law, and routinely advises clients in relation to the privacy of personal information.

  • Acting for the State of Victoria in relation to a number of information technology procurements, including procurement of cloud-based technology
  • Acting and advising public and private sector clients on the procurement of information technology goods and services
  • Advising public and private sector clients on the implications of the adoption of new technology in their business operations, including data sovereignty and privacy implications
  • Advising public and private sector clients on tender processes for information technology goods and services
  • Advising on information privacy
  • Managing trade mark portfolio for a State Government department
  • Acting for and represents parties in respect of technology transactions, including the commercialisation of intellectual property and joint venture agreements
  • Acting for many Victorian municipal councils and statutory authorities on the procurement of information technology goods and services
  • Acting for and represents parties in respect of intellectual property protection and enforcement, including trade mark oppositions
  • Acting for franchisees and franchisors in the development of franchise documentation, including franchise agreements, procedure manuals and disclosure statements
