Seminar: Embarking on the agile journey

Please join us at Pitcher Partners for this information technology seminar.

The Agile Project Method has become a popular approach to deliver initiatives within all types of organisations. This seminar will dispel the myths and  explore the realities of undertaking a project utilising this delivery approach.


Hugh Kelly

is a Director in  the Pitcher Partners IT Consulting practice and has been working in project and programme management for over 14 years. He possesses a deep understanding of project methodologies and has been utilising Agile approach for nearly 3 years.  Hugh will provide an overview of Agile Project Management, articulate its benefits and identify the business situations where an agile method is best suited.

Phil Lyon

is the Information Solutions Manager at Future Fund and has been working  in the IT Industry for 18 years. For the last 2.5 years he has lead a project utilising an agile delivery approach. Phil will reflect on the journey that his organisation has taken as it has embraced the agile method and talk about the challenges they have faced along with the benefits they have achieved.

Craig Subocz

is a Senior Associate with Russell Kennedy and has 10 years of  experience acting for and advising both public and private sector clients in a wide variety of information technology matters, including procurement and supply of software using agile methodology.  Craig will discuss the legal aspects of contracting to use the agile methodology and focus on the key issues to be addressed to adequately reflect the application of an agile methodology.
