Russell Kennedy Lawyers has launched a formal Gender Equality Strategy on International Women’s Day, 8 March 2017, aiming to become a Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality.
Russell Kennedy's Managing Principal, Paul Gleeson explains that the strategy is part of the firm’s “make a difference” philosophy and will shape the firm’s culture. Paul has been appointed as chair of the firm’s gender equality committee and says the strategy focuses on flexibility, gender composition, gender pay equity, and leader and manager capability.
Paul notes that "the Strategy builds on the work that we are already doing in these areas. In that respect I am particularly pleased with the work we have already done in relation to flexibility and pay equity.”
