Russell Kennedy strengthens its national presence and intends to keep growing
The Australian has covered the Russell Kennedy & Aitken Lawyers merger on page 28 of today's edition.
Russell Kennedy managing director Paul Gleeson said his firm was seeking to strengthen its national presence and intended to keep growing.
“It gives us a great opportunity to continue to grow nationally,” Mr Gleeson said.
“We have taken time to evaluate each other over the course of this year. You can look at the numbers fairly quickly but what takes a bit longer is understanding the quality of the people,” Mr Gleeson said.
As part of the deal Russell Kennedy board member Rohan Harris will be moving to Sydney as the two practices begin establishing national practice groups and integrating their systems and processes.
“My role will be around building relationships and connections between people in the two offices,” Mr Harris said.
