Negotiation Skills Workshop for Women: Hear from two senior female litigators at Russell Kennedy about the practical strategies and skills they have developed to make them effective negotiators.
Marika Hubble-Marriott is a Principal at Russell Kennedy, team leader of its Dispute Resolution team and the Convenor of the RKWN. Suzanne Rieschieck is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team. Between them they have decades of negotiating experience.
At the Workshop Marika and Suzanne will share with you the strategies and skills they have developed through their experience as lawyers who regularly conduct negotiations in a variety of different circumstances. Hear about what has worked for them and what has not, and learn how you can recognise, connect with and improve your own negotiating skills to empower you in your professional life.
Marika and Suzanne and will:
discuss how they use their personal strengths as negotiation tools
assist you to understand your strengths and areas for improvement as a negotiator
discuss the differences between negotiation techniques commonly used by females and males
provide you with problem-solving strategies to maximise your negotiation skills
