We invite you to join us for our Local Government Property Roadshow.

Bendigo Town Hall - Web Banner

This year we will be coming to Moe, Shepparton and Bendigo, as well as holding the event in Melbourne.

Each session will be presented by a group of Russell Kennedy’s expert local government lawyers. The seminars will provide Council officers with valuable knowledge that is integral to local government property transactions.

This year we wanted to ensure that each of the topics we present on are as relevant to you and your area as possible, so we have taken into account all your topic suggestions and feedback and developed a tailored roadshow offering for you.

Tailored topics for this year's road show:

  • Update on Local Government Bill 2018 and Implications for Council Property Officers
  • Environmental Legislation Reform commencing 2020 – Impact on Local Government as Owners and Managers of Contaminated Land
  • Troublesome Leasing Transactions – A discussion of Telco and Retail Leases
  • According Procedural Fairness in Road and Property Transactions – An Examination of Public Notification and Consultation Processes

Come and hear the presentations, speak to the presenters and network with your industry peers.
